The Optimate7 12V/24V - 12V 10A / 24V 5A, model TM261v3, is a Gold Series High Performance battery charger and maintainer designed for deep cycle batteries. It is engineered to optimize the performance and extend the life of 12V and 24V deep cycle batteries used in RVs or other crafts, and also works great for any 12V starter battery in cars, pickup trucks, ATVs, or motorcycles.

The charger offers precise charging with three 12V charge modes and three 24V charge modes, allowing you to dial in the right charge level for flooded batteries, sealed AGM and GEL, or lead-calcium CA-CA batteries. Your charge mode selection remains in memory even if the AC power is lost or the battery is disconnected. The safe selection feature ensures you don't accidentally charge a 12V battery if you previously selected a 24V mode.

Charging is fully automatic and worry-free. The Ampmatic charge control, with built-in temperature compensation, automatically adjusts the charge rate according to the battery size, condition, and ambient temperature, guaranteeing an optimal charge every time.

The automatic 8-step program can save a deeply discharged battery from as low as 0.5 Volts. The accurate pulsing absorption completes charging to 100% without gassing, followed by a long-term maintenance mode that keeps the battery at its optimal level 24-7.

The charger is designed with various features to ensure optimal battery performance and care. It has a pulsed recovery mode to recondition the battery and accept the charge again, a state of health (S.O.H.) test, and an interactive 24-7 maintenance feature that monitors the charge level hourly and delivers a float charge when needed. The temperature-regulated float charge voltage ensures the battery is never overcharged or undercharged.

The Optimate7 is recommended for deep cycle batteries, both flooded and sealed lead-acid types, and is available in three charge modes for both 12V and 24V batteries. The charger is UL, CSA, DOE, and CEC certified and approved, and comes with a battery clip set and a weatherproof battery lead as optional accessories.
